**Post-natal Pilates - healing, recovery and restorative movement**
Post-natal Pilates at the Holistic Centre, Godalming, 10-10.45am on Tuesdays. Classes are designed to help women gently regain strength and mobility after birth and to prepare them for the demands of motherhood (all that bending, kneeling and carrying!)
**SMALL CLASS SIZES** (max 6-8) to ensure full attention to the comfort and safety of clients. Block booking 5 weeks for £50 or £13 drop in. First trial class is free.
Post-natal Pilates will:
introduce gentle movement and strengthening
help new Mums regain abdominal tone and core strength
aid healing of diastasis recti (the abdominal divide)
strengthen the pelvic floor
prevent and improve common aches and pains experienced after birth in the shoulder, back and pelvis.
Run by Lucy Smith, a Body Control Pilates trained teacher, the class is open to all new Mums who have been signed off to exercise by their GP or Physio. Babies welcome from 6 weeks to crawling. While you exercise, your baby can sit in a baby seat in the studio or lie on a mat by your side. Sessions run for 45 minutes. Beginners welcome.
